Native Americans Have Set up Different Tribes Accross America

Native Americans have been in North America longer than any other people. They had their own tradition, and their own rituals. They had their own civilization with their own alphabet. The natives had set up different tribes across the Americas (Journey 4). Colonists from Europe had travelled into the natives land and had been welcomed with trust. The Americans had entered America because of all the problems occurring in Britain. King James, leader of Britain, had forced his religion onto them. His people disliked the way the king had treated them. So they had fled his country to find new land (colonies 8). Other nations such as Spain had influenced European to search for gold in the new land. They had been in the way of Americans who believed in manifest destiny. They thought it was their â€Å"god given right† to own all the land to the west of them (hills 1). Americans had gradually been west. Natives didn’t mind the colonists as long as they didn’t interfere with their land. That meant no digging for gold, or building forts (history 1). Natives considered their land very sacred. Americans agreed to their conditions. They were not happy with it though (history 1). Later, Americans had tried to buy the natives land with money. Slowly, colonists were getting very impatient and more aggressive. In the end, it turned into an all out war (history 2). Natives lost in the end and had been forced into reservations. American settlers had started to remove natives from their land. This was called the trail of tears (tears 1). This was also related to manifest destiny. Americans had forced natives off their land with treaties. Many natives fought back before they signed the treaty. Andrew Jackson had been the one who was in control of this (history 6).
